Useful Tips from Diploma Student

Last updated April 26th, 2013

Make your passion your profession
That’s exactly what I am experiencing right now. It’s a few weeks into the Diploma Course now and I love every minute of it.
When deciding to choose the Diploma Course, I had lots of support and guidance from my friends, family and of course the Event Academy team.
I had a consultation with Justine Kane the course director of Event Academy; she was lovely and explained everything I needed to know about the course.
The lectures are very inspirational, as all of professional lecturers have exceptional experience in the events world and have great stories to tell! Event Academy uses the App DropBox for students to use. It has all our lecture notes in there, which are uploaded before classes.
There are also volunteer and job opportunities which are updated regularly. I have volunteered for some of the events including, the London Moonwalk and the Flannels for Heroes, which I am very excited to attend.
We have been given our live project, which is very exciting because it’s all so real! I have a fabulous group whom I am working with so even when it gets a little challenging, we are able to work through it and work as a great team.
What I love most the Event Academy is that it gives you the independence and confidence that you need to set your career path in events. I am really enjoying the course and looking forward for the continued lectures.
