In 1989 Guy set up The Ultimate Experience with no clients, no reputation, no finance and very little knowledge of the events world. The Ultimate Experience is now the driving engine of The Concerto Group which is recognised as a significant player in the UK events market, with sales of £40million and 120 full time employees. Guy has every right to be proud of his business. It has ridden out 2 recessions, global terrorism and financial collapse…the four horsemen of the event apocalypse. In 2014 his business is flying and he is passionate about the creative opportunities within the events industry. He is currently Business Development Director, a Major Shareholder and a Board Director of The Concerto Group. Always hands on, always attentive to detail and always thinking ahead into the future for event management, design and communications…Guy is an inspirational leader and in many respects a founding father of the modern UK events industry. We are proud to have Guy on board as an advisor for Event Academy and look forward to getting him out to meet our students and alumni (he’s the one on the left in the photo!).
