Previously Digital Director BBC Olympics, and Executive Producer BBC WW1 centenary celebrations. Currently Director of Green Rock, a digital and social broadcast agency. Tim is a Creative Leader with a strong track record in digital innovation. More than twenty years experience in production and project management within digital media, television, radio and live event environments. Recently the editorial lead for History and Science online content across bbc.co.uk including BBC’s digital content as part of the World War One Centenary season, Stargazing Live and Sky at Night. Previously conceived and delivered ‘Pompeii Live’ – two live international cinema events broadcast from the British Museum with gross sales in the UK of over £500k ahead of international release; oversaw the development of the first mobile app to be launched by the British Museum, supporting the Pompeii & Herculaneum exhibition, and the first partnership project with the Google Cultural Institute. Previous experience includes project leadership of the BBC’s award winning Digital Olympics program, delivering 3,500 hours of Olympic Games content over digital platforms and project lead for the Olympic Ultra HDTV 8K (Super Hi-Vision) broadcast project. Digital editorial experience includes launching the first web sites for key broadcast brands including BBC Radio 2 & BBC 6Music and newspapers including The Times, Sun and Sunday Times. MBA awarded with Merit. Member of BAFTA judging panel.
