Qualifications

The founding members of The Event Academy come from a Corporate background.

Prior to setting up The Event Academy, Rupert Fitzmaurice and Lorne Armstrong spent 20 years as joint owners and Directors at Involve, a London based experiential change agency, pioneering involving and experiential events all over the world for the likes of AXA, GE, Airbus, GSK, Sainsbury’s, HP, Gillette, Mars, Aon, Coors etc.

Together with a team of three directors Lorne grew INVOLVE from a business of 3 to 70 employees and from nothing in 1996 to £7.5m turnover in 2010. His passion is using involvement to increase the effectiveness of learning, innovation and outcomes from meetings, workshops, conferences and roadshows.
