Event Academy Payment Plans are our own payment plans that allow you to spread the cost of your course.
Could I get a payment plan with Event Academy?
Yes, anyone can have a payment plan with Event Academy, you do not require a credit check.
There is no application process, you simply choose this option when you check out.
Are the payment plans set or flexible?
They are set and begin with a deposit payment to secure your place.
The rest of the fee is broken into monthly instalments.
The number of instalments will match the course length.
e.g. The Online Postgraduate 12 month course has 12 monthly instalments
or The Online Diploma 3 month course has 3 monthly instalments.
Which courses are the Event Academy Payment Plans available on?
All courses except Masterclasses, Foundation Certificate & Intensive Diploma (we only offer Event Academy Payment Plans for courses that are over 1 month long.)
How do I buy a course using Event Academy Payment Plan?

What happens next?
You will receive an email with a link to create your account on our online learning hub and an invoice confirming your deposit payment.
When do I make the next payment?
The first instalment of your Event Academy Payment Plan is paid 2 weeks before your course starts, so you will not make any further payments until that date. Each payment will then be due on a monthly basis once you start the course.
Deposit And Balance is one of our own payment plans that allows you to secure your place with a deposit.
You will be sent an invoice to do one final payment for the rest of the course cost.
This payment must be made no less than two weeks before the start of the course.
Could I pay with deposit & balance?
Yes, anyone can pay with a deposit and balance, you do not require a credit check.
There is no application process, you simply choose this option when you check out.
Is deposit & balance set or flexible?
It is set. You will have a set deposit and final balance to pay that can’t be adjusted.
Which courses are Deposit & Balance available on?
All courses except Masterclasses.
How do I buy a course using Deposit & Balance?

When do I make the next payment?
You will only make one more payment, the cost of your course minus the deposit (the balance) two weeks before your course start date.
Full payment is paying for the cost of your course in one payment.

Yes, anyone can pay full payment you do not require a credit check.
There is no application process, you simply choose this option when you check out and our team will manage the payments with you.
Is full payment flexible?
No.

Humm Finance offers flexible payment plans to help you split the cost of your purchase into smaller instalments over 12, 24 or 36 months.
All Humm Finance agreements are subject to 12.9% APR.
That means that the total cost of your course will be higher.
Could I pay using humm?
To be eligible for humm, you must meet the following requirements:
Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee acceptance. Humm will carry out its own creditworthiness and affordability assessment.
Is full payment flexible?
Yes you can choose to spread the cost over 12, 24 or 36 months with a 12.9% APR.
Which courses is humm available on?

Is there anything else I need to know?
If you wish to buy any courses EXCEPT Online Diploma or Online Certificate you will need to get your finance PRE APPROVED. Should you pay your deposit and be unable to obtain Humm finance, Event Academy will offer you alternative payment plans or refund your deposit. That means that you know you are able to access humm finance BEFORE you pay your deposit. If you have any questions, you can contact us HERE to chat it through.
Selecting Humm as your preferred payment method does not guarantee that your application will be accepted. Humm will assess your application independently and Event Academy cannot influence its decision. Do not pay your course deposit until Humm has confirmed that your finance application has been approved.

Applying For Humm
If you are interested in applying for humm, you can do so easily HERE.
The application process is quick, easy, and entirely online. Many applicants receive an instant decision about their application.
Here are the steps to apply for a humm account:
humm is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), and are committed to responsible lending practices and will ensure that your application is processed with the highest level of security and confidentiality.
Please note that while humm strive to provide an instant decision on your application, in some cases, humm may require additional information to fully assess if the loan is right for you. If this is the case, humm’s team may reach out to you for more information. Please provide the information requested as soon as possible, so that the humm team can review your application and ensure that the loan is right for you.
Does humm do a credit check?
Humm perform a hard credit check for each new application that is submitted for assessment.
This means humm will be sharing your personal data with one or more Credit Reference Agencies (CRAs), who will perform necessary checks. This will leave a footprint on your records at the CRAs, which will be visible to other organisations should they perform checks, and it may have an impact on your credit score (full details are in humm’s Privacy Policy available at https://shophumm.com/uk/privacy).
The information provided by the CRA will include your credit score as well as other credit and public information that is available from your credit file. This information assists humm to assess creditworthiness and whether the repayments on your proposed loan will be sustainable and affordable.
Can I pay off my humm plan early?
Yes, you can pay your plan off early without any additional fees or charges. You will only pay the balance owed on the date you make the payment. You can do this by logging into your humm portal and making a one-off payment for the amount of your outstanding balance.
What happens if you miss a payment?
If a payment is unsuccessful on the due date, humm will send you an SMS and an email to advise you of the unsuccessful payment and provide alternative ways for you to make the payment.
If the payment is not made on the due date, humm will automatically retry for the payment on the next day.
If the second attempt to claim the payment is unsuccessful, a £7 late payment fee will be applied to your Loan agreement. This will become payable along with the contractual payment.
At this time, humm will not make any further attempts to process the payment. Instead, humm will try to contact you through various communication methods (SMS/email and potentially by post) to discuss your missed payment and your financial circumstances. If humm does not get a response from their attempts to contact you, humm will look to make two further attempts to process the payment from your bank card. These attempts will be made 5 and 10 days after the due date.
The Event Academy recognises that some students may need some financial assistance in paying for their course.
We offer up to £1000 bursaries to help pay for your course – these are considered on a case by case basis.
