All our students gain valuable hands-on industry experience through client briefs, practical projects and Jobs Board roles to help you build real-world skills and professional confidence.
Plus students enrolled on the Postgraduate Diploma (PG) and Degree Alternative (DA) courses will also have access to a three month work placement.
Our top tier courses (Degree Alternative, Postgraduate and Online Postgraduate) offer dedicated career support including guidance on creating an effective CV, understanding what employers look for and building a strong LinkedIn profile to enhance your employability within the events industry.

The moment you enrol, you can access our Jobs Board.
We have hundreds of roles across the UK.
The goal is to help you build experience, confidence and industry connections to boost your CV.
Even before your course begins, once you have enrolled, you can start applying for roles.
We currently work with 8 partner organisations who offer paid opportunities at competitive hourly rates (always above minimum wage), with rates varying depending on the event and your level of experience. We also offer volunteer roles, where expenses are covered.
The jobs range across all industry sectors from festivals, fashion, corporate, sport, charity, exhibitions, private events and many more.
You might find yourself working at major events including London Marathon, Reading & Leeds Festivals, Formula 1 or Royal Ascot.

Our guaranteed three month work placement within the events industry if you are studying the Degree Alternative or Postgraduate courses is a guided process from start to finish.
Your work placement is an incredible opportunity to apply all the skills and knowledge you have learned in the classroom and demonstrate your value to a prospective employer. It gives you real-world experience as an event manager to add to your CV, while also helping you better understand the direction you may want to take in your career.

We will help you prepare your CV, teach you how to do your very best at the interview(s) and advise you on the type of placement company we believe will suit you best. Through a series of one-to-one meetings, we will match you to the perfect opportunity to suit you and your ambitions in the industry.
Once you are in your placement, we keep in close contact with you to guide and support you where necessary.
