Our reputation within the events industry has allowed us access to some of the most exciting events including The Brit Awards, adidas City Run, London Fashion Weeek, Secret Cinema, Wilderness and Boardmasters Festivals… Some of these roles will be paid
and others you will have your costs covered.
This opportunity is available to all students on all courses except Masterclasses.
Throughout the year, opportunities are posted for students on our online student hub. Each time you volunteer at an event you are able to add experience to your CV, create contacts and put your learning into action.

The BRIT Awards are the British Phonographic Industry’s annual popular music awards. We have been placing students here for over 5 years with access to backstage creating an incredible experience to add to your CV.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. We place a team of students every year at the prestigious event.
Secret Cinema, Various Locations
Secret Cinema specialises in immersive cinema experiences. From cult classics to new releases, films are brought to life around you. We have a close working relationship with the Secret Cinema team and place students into their amazing experiences!
Earn while you learn and to develop your experience, we have teamed up with two leading event staffing company who will fast track our students into jobs that you can fit around your studies.
This opportunity is available to all students on all courses except Masterclasses.
With a choice of jobs and flexible hours, students will have the opportunity to work at VIP launches, weddings, film locations and exclusive concerts.
Examples include Wembley, Silverstone, Goodwood, Alexandra Palace and Ascot Racecourse on events such as The Grand Prix, The FA Cup Final or concerts for Childish Gambino, 50 Cent, Britney Spears, Jess Glynne, Rudimental, Years and Years. What a way to consolidate everything that’s being taught in class!

Henley Royal Regatta is undoubtedly the best-known regatta in the world and a highlight of both the summer sporting calendar and the social season.
The Regatta attracts thousands of visitors over the week. Spectators are thrilled by over 300 races of an international standard, which can include Olympic rowers as well as crews new to the event.
Since 2015, 51st State Festival has been joining the dots between seminal figures of dance music culture and the new generation of artists pushing the movement forward today. From its roots in US Gospel, Soul, Disco and House through iconic genres like Garage, 2-step, Acid House, Dancehall, R&B and more, 51st State Festival showcases the technicoloured heritage of dance and is amongst the most diverse and inclusive festivals in the UK.
Lord’s is widely referred to as the Home of Cricket and is home to the world’s oldest sporting museum. The current ground celebrated its two hundredth anniversary in 2014.
Heritage Live, Various Locations
Heritage Live concerts are staged at some of England’s most beautiful and culturally significant venues. These historic landmarks, stately homes and estates showcase the very best of England’s unique heritage and serve as stunning backdrops to our evening events.
Guaranteed three month work placement within the events industry if you are studying the Degree Alternative or Postgraduate courses. This is a guided process from start to finish.
Your work placement is an incredible opportunity to apply all the skills and knowledge you have learned in the classroom and demonstrate your value to a prospective employer. It gives you real-life working experience as an event manager to add to your CV as well as helping you to better understand the direction you might want to take your career.
We will help you to prepare your CV, teach you how to do your very best at the interview(s) and advise you on the type of placement company we believe will suit you best. Through a series of one-to-one meetings, we will match you to the perfect opportunity to suit you and your ambitions in the industry.
Once you are in your placement, we keep in close contact with you to guide and support you where necessary.
