The course is an equivalent to an A Level in UK standards.
This means you will have a solid understanding of what you will need to do and in what order to run a successful event.
We call these – Core Modules – and they are the build blocks to creating an event.
The Core Modules are as follows…The Event Journey, Event Management Planning, Coordinating Events & Budgeting, Creativity In Events, Venue & Risk Management, Supplier & Logistics Management, Client & Customer Relations, Marketing In Events & Production & Technical.
We have quite a wide range of people on the course so don’t feel you will be out of place.
We do have a minimum age of 18 but we welcome students of all ages!
Because the Foundation is the type of course that many different people find useful whatever point they are in their career, we tend to have a wide range of people on the course.
We often have students from other countries who come over to the UK for a week to study.
We usually run three Foundation courses every year; January. July and September.
We also release dates for the next academic year in October/November.
The Foundation also forms the first part of the Degree Alternative so September and January tie into our two annual Degree Alternative courses.
