Charity of the Year 2016

Last updated December 11th, 2015
We are pleased to announce that our Charity of the Year for 2016 is Teenage Cancer Trust. They are the only charity dedicated to ensuring treatment and support for teenagers diagnosed with cancer. Our Postgraduate students are tasked with creating fundraising events and all funds raised will be donated to Teenage Cancer Trust as our Charity of the Year. The fundraising events run by our current Postgraduate cohort went off with a bang this week and we look forward to announcing the final fundraising totals after Christmas. Claire Derrick, Director of Education at Event Academy on our Charity of the Year partnership: ‘We are delighted to be supporting the Teenage Cancer Trust. As part of their final assessments our student must design, create and organise a fundraising event to raise money for a good cause. They’ll be graded on how well they do and how much they raise for the Teenage Cancer Trust! Let’ hope they do really well.’
