Diamond Jubilee Celebrations

So last year we saw the coming together of many communities not only in the UK but globally to celebrate The Royal Wedding. A similar event this year brings back that ‘street’ style event and promotes the community celebrations – The Queens Jubilee! The bunting is decorating every high street, the union jack cupcakes are being baked and the old fete style activities planned – it’s so fantastic to see everyone getting stuck in and embracing everything British. It’s not very often that we are given the day off to celebrate and we will be doing so in style. I can’t think of the next big occasion we will have the excuse to come together with our community… so regardless of whether you are already immersed into community life or choose to dip in and out of it… this is the time to work along aside your fellow neighbours and friends to pull together a memorable and fun event!
