If your schedule doesn’t allow for a part time evening class, The Event Academy also offers three online event management courses which can also be studied at your own pace. The Online Foundation, Online Diploma and Online Postgraduate cover the events industry from the very beginning through to the more advanced.
This is a CIM-accredited Level 4 diploma course designed to help you transition into event management. You’ll learn everything you need to get started in events over two evenings a week for 3 months.
Classes are in a virtual classroom alongside others learning the same skills and wanting the same thing as you.
The course will cover event planning, wedding planning, fundraisers and other popular event types. You will learn budgeting, creating themes, setting up, pitching to clients, presentation skills, marketing, creativity, coordination skills and a whole lot more!
The Online Foundation course is for those with no experience in the events industry. It covers the basics of event planning, budgeting, venue management, the creative process, event production and some technical elements of planning an event.
It’s a 3 month course you can study part time or however you like, at your own pace.
The Online Diploma is a part time events management course that builds on what you learn in the foundation. The course teaches risk management, dealing with suppliers, handling clients, budgeting, interviewing and people management, virtual event management, sustainable events, marketing, social media and a whole lot more.
This is a 3 or 12 month course depending on how you study. It provides a CIM-accredited diploma in event management upon completion.
The Online Postgraduate course is our most advanced part time event management course. It’s a Level 7 CIM-accredited course that teaches project management, creativity, event planning, marketing, health and safety, budgeting, production, technology, presentation skills, leadership and so much more.
You can complete this course anytime within 18 months of starting it.
