Jon Coventry

Jon began his career in technical theatre working in the West End and also on tour across the UK working on shows such as Grease, Les Miserables, Blood Brothers, Rent & ART. After a short stint working with the Welsh National Opera, Jon went to work for the Millennium Dome where he finished in 2001 as Deputy Head of Lighting with responsibilities across the entire site from the Central Show through to the surrounding zones and getting involved with many of the corporate and public events that happened on the site including Miss World 2000, 2000 Bollywood Awards and the closing show of London Fashion Week. Following the Dome, Jon provided production management for many events including awards ceremonies, dinners and marketing events including the CIPD awards and the UK OK PR launch at the Tower of London. He was then invited to set up the Production Dept. at White Light providing technical equipment and production for events at some of London’s most prestigious venues including the Natural History Museum , V&A Museum and many of the Historic Royal Palaces. More recently, Jon was Head of Production at Banks Sadler, operating out of London, York, Paris, Düsseldorf, and New York, every year Banks Sadler handles over 15,000 venue find bookings and 500 event management projects for a range of corporations, SMEs, government and associations. Jon has since become the Managing Director of Coventry Communications.
