Volunteering opportunity – Royal Greenwich Tall Ship Festival

On the 5-9th September 2014 Royal Greenwich will be the final port of call for the Falmouth to Royal Greenwich Tall Ship Regatta. Up to 50 ships will gather in Royal Greenwich for four days of festivities. The ships will be berthed along the River Thames and there will be: We are working closely with the regatta organisers to offer the opportunity to volunteer at this prestigious, world renowned event. The Volunteers  roles will be to assist with the movement of spectators to and from the venues and to provide local knowledge of the of the Greenwich borough and further afield. There will also be roles available to help support the spectacular cultural and events programme that will be organised as part of the Host Borough celebrations. You will need to be available for training and briefing session in early summer 2014 and during the regatta from 4th – 9th September 2014. to register your interest in volunteering during the Regatta  or for more information please email [email protected]
