Top 5 Questions Students Ask….The Foundation Course

Last updated October 21st, 2021

How difficult is the course?

The course is an equivalent to an A Level in UK standards.

This means you will have a solid understanding of what you will need to do and in what order to run a successful event.

We call these – Core Modules – and they are the build blocks to creating an event.

The Core Modules are as follows…The Event Journey, Event Management Planning, Coordinating Events & Budgeting, Creativity In Events, Venue & Risk Management, Supplier & Logistics Management, Client & Customer Relations, Marketing In Events & Production & Technical.

What age are the people on the course?

We have quite a wide range of people on the course so don’t feel you will be out of place.

We do have a minimum age of 18 but we welcome students of all ages!

Because the Foundation is the type of course that many different people find useful whatever point they are in their career, we tend to have a wide range of people on the course.

We often have students from other countries who come over to the UK for a week to study.

How often is the course run and when could I start?

We usually run three Foundation courses every year; January. July and September.

We also release dates for the next academic year in October/November.

The Foundation also forms the first part of the Degree Alternative so September and January tie into our two annual Degree Alternative courses.

How much do I need to pay and when?

Once you have received your offer letter you will be able to put down your deposit for the course.

All you need to do is to pay a deposit via the Payment Page and your place will then be secured.

You can pay via credit card with our online system but if you wish to do a bank transfer then you will find the details for this on your Offer Letter.

The final instalment is due two weeks before the course start date.

How do I get a place on the course?

We want to ensure that everyone who takes our courses is able to complete them successfully so we do request that all prospective students complete a Course Consultation prior to confirming their place.

You can book a Course Consultation straight into our  HERE

Our simple system allows you to choose the time and date you wish to book your chat for.

The Consultation lasts around 20 minutes and you will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you wish.

Once you have completed this successfully, our Admissions Team will send you an Offer Letter.
